Pursuant to the directives of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fadhil Muhsin Hamad, visited the College of Education for Girls today, Sunday, 14 September 2025, to review the College's readiness for the new academic year 2025–2026.
The visit included a field tour of the College's departments and lecture halls, covering a follow-up of the scientific and administrative equipment of the newly established departments and an assessment of how well prepared they are to provide a suitable educational environment for the female students.
In a speech during the visit, he praised the efforts of the College, its Deanship and its staff in preparing the study and service requirements, affirming that “the University of Shatrah pays great attention to preparing the colleges to receive their students, and keeps in view the provision of an advanced university environment that meets the aspirations of the female students and contributes to developing their academic and research abilities”.
For her part, the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, Prof. Dr. Afrah Abd Maktoof, welcomed the visit of the Assistant President, commending the continuous support of the University Presidency and affirming that “the College has worked intensively to prepare the lecture halls, laboratories and educational equipment in line with the requirements of the academic process and quality standards”.
