Under the patronage of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, and at the direction of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Fadhil Al-Husseini,
the Central Promotions Unit, in cooperation with the College of Engineering, organised a workshop entitled: "Instructions for Academic Promotions and the Mechanism for Using the Electronic Platform for Applying" on Wednesday, 24 September 2025, in the Martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis Hall. The lecturers were (Lect. Dr. Sally Salih Jumaa) and (Lect. Dr. Azhar Abdul-Hussein Shallal)
The workshop addressed the most important instructions and updates relating to academic promotions, with a thorough explanation of the mechanism for applying through the approved electronic platform, and answers to faculty members' enquiries about the obstacles they may face during the application process.
This workshop comes within the framework of the University's keenness to support the teaching staff and raise awareness of scientific and administrative procedures, thereby contributing to strengthening scientific research and developing the academic journey.
