Within the framework of the directives of the President of the University of Shatrah, Professor Dr. Bassem Abdul Hussein Al-Ghazi, the Secretary of the Central Library at the University of Shatrah, Assistant Professor Dr. Maitham Aziz Thajil, met with the Head of the Department of the Holy Qur’an House at the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine, Sheikh Dr. Khairuddin Al-Hadi, on Sunday, June 28, 2026, to discuss the prospects for joint cooperation between the two sides.
The meeting witnessed the discussion of a number of topics aimed at enhancing scientific and cultural cooperation, especially the establishment of Qur’anic and scientific activities and events within the university’s corridors and colleges, as well as activating the participation of university students in Qur’anic competitions and programs organized by the Holy Qur’an House, in a way that contributes to developing their scientific and cultural capabilities and consolidating Qur’anic values.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Al-Hilali handed over a letter of thanks and appreciation to the head of the Department of the Holy Qur’an House, on behalf of the President of the University of Shatrah, in appreciation of the House’s efforts in serving the Holy Qur’an and its support for scientific and cultural activities, and emphasizing the importance of continuing fruitful cooperation between the two institutions.
The Secretary of the Central Library also conveyed the thanks of the President of the University to the administration of the Holy Qur’an House for donating the Ahl al-Bayt Encyclopedia to the library.
