The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine - University of Shatrah, in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Unit, organized an educational symposium entitled *"Literacy eradication programs applied in rural areas"*, on Tuesday, 10/13/2026.
Ms. Zainab Abdel Amir* lectured at the symposium, where she discussed the importance of literacy programs, their role in developing rural communities, the mechanisms for their implementation, and their impact on improving the educational and social reality, especially for women in remote areas.
The symposium aims to shed light on the efforts made to reduce illiteracy and enhance awareness of the importance of education as a basic pillar of sustainable development.
