The Continuing Education Unit, along with the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine / University of Shatrah, and in cooperation with the Dhi Qar Veterinarians Syndicate, held an applied scientific course entitled *(Diseases of Horses)*.
The course targeted teachers, students, and graduates, and the course continues for three days, from Sunday, 11/1/2026, until Tuesday, 11/3/2026, in the University Presidency seminar hall.

The course included a detailed explanation of the types of horses, their common diseases, methods of diagnosing and treating them, and learning about different types of horses and their characteristics.
The session witnessed great interaction from the attendees by asking questions and scientific inquiries and discussing them with the lecturers.
