The Phonetics Laboratory is one of the most important educational facilities of the Department of English Language. It is used for the practical application of the phonetics course (Phonetics / Pronunciation), which focuses on the study of the speech sounds of English, including correct pronunciation, distinguishing letters and sounds, stress, intonation and rhythm in speech.
The laboratory aims to develop students' speaking and listening skills, so that students can pronounce words and sentences correctly and naturally and understand the phonetic differences between words that may change meaning. It also helps students practise individual and connected sounds and improve their oral communication skills through practical and interactive exercises.
The Phonetics Laboratory is the place where the theoretical and phonetic aspects of English come together in practice. It helps students improve their pronunciation, understand subtle sounds and build confidence in speaking, and it is an essential part of teaching English in a scientific and effective way.
