Under the direction and patronage of the President of the University of Shatrah Prof.Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah and with the direct supervision and follow-up of the Dean of the College of Education Prof.Dr. Safaa Hussein Ali the College of Education – University of Shatrah launched a large tree-planting campaign in the corridors and courtyards of the college, to enhance the university environment and contribute to spreading environmental awareness among students.
This initiative comes as part of the University Presidency's commitment to providing a healthy and attractive learning environmentand to consolidating the concept of sustainability and social responsibility on the university campus, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and joint work between the University Presidency and the college deanship.
The college deanship affirms that it will continue to support such quality activities, which help beautify the college corridors and instil in students the values of giving, belonging and caring for the environment.
