Ministerial Committee Continues Its Work at the College of Veterinary Medicine as Part of the Academic Accreditation Programme

The ministerial committee charged with following up the programme accreditation of the Bachelor's programme at the College of Veterinary Medicine is continuing its work for the third consecutive day, as part of its visit that began on Monday, 6 April 2026 and continues until Thursday, with the aim of assessing the academic and administrative situation at the college and the extent of its conformity with quality and accreditation standards.

The committee's programme today, Wednesday, 8 April 2026, included an extended meeting with the teaching staff, during which a number of questions were raised and the most prominent challenges and problems facing the educational process were discussed, in addition to hearing proposals that would develop academic performance.

The visit also included a field tour of the college laboratories, where the committee examined their readiness and the extent of their compliance with the required standards, stressing the need to implement the earlier directives it had recommended in previous days and to work on completing the accreditation requirements.

The committee also visited the Student Affairs Division and examined its working procedures, particularly with regard to student files and official documents and the ways in which they are organised and kept in accordance with the approved regulations, in addition to discussing the various aspects relating to student affairs and the services provided to students.
