Under the patronage of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah , with the direct support of the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Safaa Hussein Ali , and as part of supporting the scientific and research movement at the University, Lect. Dr. Mustafa Jawad Mizher, a faculty member at the College of Education / Department of Physics, achieved a new academic accomplishment by publishing a research paper entitled:

“A Comparative Study Using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) of Heat Transfer Enhancement in a Pipe Exposed to Solar Radiation Using an Aluminium Oxide–Water (Al₂O₃–Water) Nanofluid”

Comparative CFD study of heat transfer enhancement in a Solar-Exposed pipe using Al2O3-Water nanofluid

The paper studies mechanisms for improving heat transfer efficiency using nanofluids and applications of computational fluid dynamics, given the scientific and engineering importance of this field in developing thermal systems and raising their operational efficiency, as well as keeping pace with recent developments in energy and advanced engineering applications.

This scientific achievement reflects the interest of the University and the college deanship in supporting researchers and encouraging rigorous scientific publication in highly ranked international journals, contributing to strengthening the academic and research standing of the institution and consolidating its presence in international scientific forums.

It is worth noting that the journal, ranked in the first quartile (Q1), has advanced scientific indicators, with an Impact Factor of 4.6 and a CiteScore of 7.6, which reflects the journal's rigour and scientific standing in academic and research publishing.
