University of Shatrah Concludes the Students' Five-a-Side Football Tournament with the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences Team Crowned Champion

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, the University of Shatrah concluded on Monday 29 December 2025 the students' five-a-side football tournament held by the Student Activities Department as part of the annual programme of sports activities. The final brought together the teams of the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences and the College of Education / Al-Dawaia.

The final was attended by the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Raed Majeed Jabbar, together with a number of teaching staff and students, in a competitive and enthusiastic atmosphere that reflected high sportsmanship and positive interaction between the two teams.

The match ended with the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences team defeating the College of Education / Al-Dawaia team by three goals to two, to be crowned tournament champion.

At the end of the event, Prof. Dr. Raed Majeed Jabbar presented the prizes and trophies to the winning team, and also honoured the runner-up team in appreciation of its distinguished participation.
