Under the patronage of the President of the University of Shatrah, Prof. Dr. Basim Abdul-Hussein Jarallah, and the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Yasser Abdul-Sahib Barak, the Psychological Counselling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Fine Arts organised, on Thursday, 19 February 2026, a field awareness campaign under the slogan (Combating Extremism).
The campaign included a tour of the college corridors under the field supervision of Lect. Dr. Ali Sami Farhan and Asst. Lect. Haider Sattar Abd, which involved distributing guidance leaflets and holding direct dialogues with students to promote the values of tolerance and intellectual openness and to address the causes that may lead to radicalism.
